This trek is a high altitude trek; most of  the trek is above 4000m. You need to be well acclimatized before starting the trek. The trek goes through the high Changthang Plateau, which is the summer grazing ground for the Chang goats which deliver the precious pashmina wool. They are herded by the nomadic Chang Pa tribe. We end our trek at the beautiful Tsomoriri Lake with it’s clear blue water mirroring the surrounding snow capped mountains.
