Treks can be any kind of hike from a one day walk or a multiple days or weeks in the forest, mountains or alpine meadows. Trekking levels depend on the physical challenge, the altitude you travel on, the type of terrain and weather conditions during the trip.
You will walk on easy mountain trails for 4 to 5 hours a day. Basic physical fitness is required. Prior experience and acclimatization is not a concern.
The trek will be on a bit more challenging trails for 6 to 7 hours a day. Good physical fitness will help. You may have to walk in high altitude or cross high altitude passes (4000 to 5000 meter.) so acclimatization can be a concern. Trip can be for several days, trekking from one homestay or campsite to the other.
You will trek to remote places and mountains. The walk or climb can be for 7 to 8 hours a day. Good physical fitness is required. Acclimatization is a big concern. On some trips basic mountaineering skills may require. Trip can involve long stays on high altitude.
